Job Summary
As a critical co-pilot for the KLIX Director, this role will provide direction for the long-term brand strategy, to take a flagship brand to the next stage of its life-cycle and drive excellence in execution of innovation requirements for brand growth.
This role will be to develop and implement activity plans, based on the global brand plans and local market needs that help to improve drinks throughput, improve brand profitability and stabilise + grow the drinks vending machine base for the KLIX brand in the UK
The position must translate our knowledge of customer and consumer segmentation, brand positioning and market landscape knowledge into effective brand marketing plans, working closely with Global Marketing, to deliver business targets set up for the brand in the market. The position must also translate market knowledge and findings from market research into actionable insight plans to be fed back to develop global brand plans.
The principal aspects of this role are:
- Develop and implement channel development strategies, with KLIX Director, based on channel profitability, growth, penetration and size of opportunity.
- Development of CRM strategy and ownership of the implementation and delivery of CRM measures (on- going customer segmentation and contact strategy)
- Create and drive local marketing activity plans for KLIX (drinks, machines, service) that are aligned to the KLIX roadmap for growth aspirations (ASP, machine throughput, placements and losses) and target brand MAC.
- Member of the KLIX Demand Board reviewing actions required to drive brand sales performance (NSV, new business, promotions, share, volumes v plan)
- Develop and lead brand and internal communication plans, product launches and sales promotions in UK
- Research and understand local consumer and customer insights
- Understanding of the workplace drinks market place, the competitive set and the dynamics of the industry segmentation in the UK.
- Lead team to develop the marketing tools and information packages for internal and external use
- Manage effectively the brand A&P budget and support the business operating planning process for KLIX UK
- Analysis and implementation of Pricing Structures e.g. line pricing
- Champion the Innovation process.
- Work collaboratively with other European KLIX market development teams to share best practice and learning

B. Education & Experience Desired
- Bachelor Degree required, Marketing qualification required
- Strong experience of Product Management / Trade Marketing ideally in a service environment
- Strong experience of working within service, B2B business
- Advantageous to have experience of coffee or tea industry.
- Proven track record in delivering innovation to market.
